Dr. Devidutta Das is an Assistant Professor of English at BVRIT HYDERABAD College of Engineering for Women, India. She completed her Ph. D from Utkal University, India in 2019. She is passionate about teaching and is continually working towards her research in writing skills. Her research foregrounds finding a middle path between the functional aspect and the literary aspect of writing. It further examines the ways of writing well through three categories of books which are named ‘writing books’, ‘gusto books’ and “writerly” books. Her recent foray into English Language Teaching (ELT) stems from her passion for exploring innovative classroom activities and making English learning more engaging, meaningful, and relevant to engineering students.
