Dr. Ghazala Mir is Associate Professor of Health Equity and Inclusion at the University of Leeds with research interests in health and social inequalities. Her research focuses on the experience of people underserved by health and other public services and she has led work to highlight key research priorities in this field. She leads the multidisciplinary Inequalities Research Network and the International Partnerships for Equity and Inclusion, which bring together academics, advocacy organizations, public services practitioners and policymakers to help reduce the inequalities that affect disadvantaged groups.
