Conference History

We are delighted to report that the 2019 edition of the International Conference on Advanced Research in Social Sciences – ICARSS – exceeded our and attendees’ expectations. Hosted on the 22nd-24th of November 2019, it was the 2nd year we organized the event. This time it took place in the magnificent city of Paris, France.

Our scientific committee picked out presentations that truly added value to the knowledge of everyone involved. Presentations covered a wide spectrum of topics, including the transformation of the US foreign aid within Southeast Asia, social and solidarity economy, the specifics of self-harmers attempting suicide, the contagion of violence, and many others.

In between presentations, the participants had a chance to network and learn from each other. With academics from such countries as Mexico, Algeria, Slovakia, Portugal, Italy, the United States, Croatia, France, Japan, Nepal, India, Liberia, Malaysia, and numerous others joining the event, conversations were as engaging as they were fascinating. The diverse nature of the event gave ICARSS attendees a chance to learn from their peers and understand unique perspectives on familiar topics.

The free guided tour of Paris was the culmination of the event. We walked around the intricate streets of the city, explored its hidden gems, and indulged in local cuisine.

Don’t miss out on ICARSS 2023! Submit your abstract or register as an attendee. We look forward to meeting you!
